DAIGI Foundation Profile
The establishment of the Duta Amal Insan Gemilang Indonesia (DAIGI) Foundation is based on concerns about the large number of orphaned and underprivileged children in Indonesia who require special attention during their developmental years. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2023 shows that there are more than 3 million orphans in Indonesia, with many of them living below the poverty line. These children face various challenges, such as inadequate nutrition, limited access to education, and a lack of essential care and affection crucial for their emotional and psychological development.
Through DAIGI, we are committed to providing holistic support that includes fulfilling nutritional needs, access to quality education, and adequate care and affection. With this approach, we hope to help orphaned and underprivileged children grow into independent individuals who are competitive and ready to face future challenges. We believe that with the right support, they can achieve their full potential and make positive contributions to society and the nation.
Duta Amal Insan Gemilang Indonesia Foundation (DAIGI) was officially established as a Social Charity Organization, under the decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MENKUMHAM) No. AHU-0024451.AH.01.04.2020, dated December 8, 2020.
DAIGI Foundation is registered as Social Welfare Institution (LKS) with the Semarang City Social Affairs Office,under registration number 171.07.24 , specializing in non-residential social welfare services. In addition, the foundation has obtained an official Recommendation Letter for Fund and Goods Collection (PUB), authorizing it to conduct fundraising and donation activities in compliance with applicable regulations.
On December 9, 2020, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the DAIGI office and production facilities took place in Gunungpati, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia.

To become a professional social institution that cares for the growth, literacy, and education of orphaned and underprivileged children through community empowerment.
Mission
- To organize efforts in producing nutritional supplements for orphans and underprivileged children.
- To distribute nutritious and beneficial food products to orphans and underprivileged children during their developmental stages in Indonesia, enabling them to become healthy, intelligent, and independent individuals.
- To gather philanthropic donations from the community to be channeled into programs for orphans and underprivileged children.
- To organize activities of play, education, and literacy for orphans and underprivileged children.
- To conduct educational efforts and literacy programs for the community on the importance of nutrition for children's growth and development.
